The Malta FA is set to host the first ever Grassroots Leader Course specifically for female coaches with the aim of having more licensed female coaches in Malta.
This course is the first step in the MFA Coach Education Pathway and is a basic introduction to youth football coaching aimed at persons who are currently coaching a grassroots team or looking to get into coaching.
It is designed to help the coach to create a safe, fun, and positive football environment during football sessions with the younger age groups (between 5 and 9).
Tutors for this female-only course include professional coaches part of the Malta FA Technical Centre staff, Andrea Vella, Ivan Woods, Herman Bugeja, Charles Sciberras, and Women’s Football Director Pierre Brincat.
The course is set to be held between August 24 and August 26.
