Full game for Mbong as Ironi Kiryat win in Israeli Cup

Joseph Mbong played a full game for Ironi Kiryat as they secured their first win of the new season.

Ironi Kiryat were featuring in their third Israel Toto Cup Group A commitments after launching their campaign with a a defeat and a draw.

They faced Maccabi Bnei Reineh as they cancelled a one-goal deficit to secure a 2-1 victory.

Mbong started as left winger in a 4-3-3, shifting from left to right throughout the game.

The Malta international, who wears the number 77 on his shirt, put on a strong showing as he stayed on the pitch for all 90 minutes.

Mbong’s side has now moved to four points with one game left against Hapoel Haifa on Wednesday.
