A Maltese official will be taking charge of a high-profile match in European futsal on Wednesday.
Stephen Vella, a FIFA futsal referee, will be officiating the European qualifier between Austria and Georgia at the Sporthalle Margareten Arena in Vienna.
Both nations will meet each other in this European qualifier as they are vying for a place in the Elite round.
Georgia and Austria are partnered with Belgium in their Main Round group with Georgia launching their campaign with a victory while Austria lost in their opener.
