Maltese squash player Lijana Sultana has been named Atlas Youth Athlete of the Month for September by the Malta Sports Journalists Association.
Sultana recorded a prestigious success in Australia after winning the Australian National Championships at U-17’s level.
This is Sultana’s second major title since moving Down Under where she continues her squash development at the Bradley Hindle Art of Squash Academy.
Back in April, she won the Australian Junior Open which is another notable appointment in the squash calendar in Australia.
