Teddy Teuma captained Union Saint-Gilloise in a brilliant 4-0 win over Gent which sees them progress into the semi-finals of the Belgian Cup.
The Malta international skipped last weekend’s Brussels derby against Anderlecht after serving a one-game ban in the Belgian championship.
He returned promptly to the starting formation for Thursday’s game as they edged closer towards the Belgian Cup final.
Union won this competition twice but their last success dates back to 1912/1913.
The remaining teams in the competition are are top-flight’s KV Mechelen, Zulte Waregem and Antwerp with Union having a golden opportunity to pick up a major silverware.
