Malta international Zach Muscat could be marking the likes of Paolo Dybala and Andrea Belotti as Farense and Italian club Roma will meet in a friendly on August 2.
For the Giallorossi, this friendly will wrap up their Portugal training camp during which they will play against Braga and Estrela Amadora as well.
The match will be played at the Estadio de Sao Luis in Faro with the Serie A club continuing their preparations ahead of the 2023/2024 season.
Meanwhile, Farense have already launched their new campaign after progressing to the second round of the domestic League Cup after beating Moreirense on penalties.
Muscat was included from the start and played a full game at the heart of the defensive line.
During their pre-season friendlies, Muscat’s Farense met high-profile clubs Wolves and Sporting CP while also rubbing shoulders with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr albeit the Portuguese superstar was sidelined for the game.
