Maltese coach led PSIS Semarang to a 4-1 rout of Dewa United
Gilbert Agius was hailed by popular football website Transfermarkt – a German-owned website used mainly to track player transfers and market values.
The Maltese coach, currently in charge of PSIS Semarang, was named as coach of the week for Matchday 8 of the Indonesian top-flight.
Agius led PSIS Semarang to a 4-1 victory over Dewa United as they sit fourth on 14 points, trailing leaders Madura United by just two.
PSIS Semarang host Persib in Sunday’s next league encounter.
