A winning weekend for both Zach Muscat and Matthew Guillaumier as the two Malta internationals helped Boavista and Stal Mielec respectively clinch three important points.
Muscat was in the starting formation for Farense as they secured an impressive 3-1 win over Boavista in the Portuguese top-flight.
The Malta international played a full game during which he registered 12 clearances, 1 interception, 1 tackle while winning six of his 9 duels (both ground and aerial).
Moreover, he had 88% accurate passes from his 49 touches as Farense are now seventh with 16 points.
Meanwhile, Matthew Guillaumier was given the nod to start for Stal Mielec in Poland’s top-flight.
The former Ħamrun Spartans captain remained on the field for the entire game, with his club winning 2-1 and moving 10th with 18 points.
Guillaumier was in possession of the ball on 50 occasions, registering a passing accuracy of 86% including 1 key pass and two accurate long balls as well.
