A couple of late goals for Slovakia handed Malta their second defeat in the U-19’s European qualifications at the Centenary Stadium.
The Maltese side were at the back of a brave display against Ukraine in their tournament opener, despite losing 3-1.
Slovakia, on their part, drew with Kosovo in their opening game and they are now tied on four points with the same points before the final round of games.
Kosovo will face Malta while Slovakia take on Ukraine with the top two teams advancing to the next round.
