Maltese international scored in the historic 2-1 win over Latvia in the UEFA Women’s Nations League.
Malta international forward Kailey Willis will continue her career at Venezia after putting pen to paper on a deal until the end of the season.
Willis, 20, will continue to play in the Italian Serie C after starting this season on the books of Meran Women.
At Meran Women, who are leading Serie C – Group B with 30 points, she found the net on four occasions in nine appearances.

On the other hand, Venezia sit second as they trail Meran by four points. The two teams will meet in the first round’s final weekend of action on January 28 with Venezia hosting the game.
In the meantime, Venezia’s upcoming game is a Serie C – Coppa Italia game – against Villorba Calcio after launching their cup defense with a 5-0 rout of Triestina with Willis immediately available for selection.
Last season, Maltese goalkeeper Maya Cachia was also part of the Venezia side.
Earlier this month, Willis scored Malta’s first goal in the comeback win over Latvia which allowed them to clinch an historic promotion in the UEFA Women’s Nations League.
