Born in Belgium, played in Netherlands and Lithuania.
Balzan have added another player in this winter transfer window after bringing in Belgian midfielder Olivier Rommens.
Rommens, 28, is at the back of a spell in Estonia with Kalju FC with whom he scored three goals and produced two assists in 26 games.
He is described as a two-way midfielder that is expected to bring more dynamism to Oliver Spiteri’s side.
The Belgium-born player was nurtured in the PSV Eindhoven academy where he played for the U-17’s, U-19’s and U-21’s teams.
He played 90 games with both U-19’s and U-21’s selections, scoring four times and assisting on three occasions.
During his career, Rommens also played with NAC Breda of the Netherlands and Lithuania’s Suduva.
