Youngster came off the bench against the Bianconere in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals.
Lexine Farrugia’s impressive performances with the U-19’s side of Sampdoria earned her a well-deserved spot with the senior side after making her debut on Wednesday.
The Malta youth player was selected for Sampdoria’s second leg of their Coppa Italia quarter-final against giants Juventus, with the Bianconere enjoying a four-goal advantage secured in the first leg.
At half-time, Maltese experienced midfielder Rachel Cuschieri, also at Sampdoria, came off the bench with Farrugia being deployed on minute 78.
With the Primavera side, Farrugia has scored 10 goals in 11 appearances.
