Seth Paintsil replaces Joseph Mbong for Ħamrun Spartans, two changes for Gżira United

Seth Paintsil will replace the suspended Joseph Mbong as Luciano Zauri’s side will be looking to keep Floriana in sights on Saturday afternoon.


With the Greens set to secure a comfortable win over Mosta and extend their lead to five points, Ħamrun will be eyeing their 17th win of the season and keep the heat on the Greens.

The Spartans will face Gżira United without Malta international Mbong who is serving a one-match ban after last week’s yellow card against Birkirkara.

Captaining the side will be Emerson Marcelina in the absence of Steve Borg.

On the other hand, Andrew Cohen has made two changes to his starting line-up.

Zach Cassar and Andrew Borg replace Thiaguinho and Jackson Mendoza.

The Maroons sit eighth on 29 points.
