Malta midfielder Yannick Yankam notched his second strike of the season in the United States during Lexington SC’s USL League One game against Spokane Velocity, on Sunday.
Yankam, former Birkirkara captain, grabbed Lexington’s equaliser in the first half after his side went one nil down after 19 minutes.
The Maltese player had already opened his club account last month when he had propelled Lexington to a narrow victory in their home opener against Chattanooga RW.
Although he has played just five games for Lexington, Yankam has already been named twice to the USL 1 Team of the Week.
