Paul Zammit will continue as Sliema Wanderers coach for the next two seasons, the Blues announced on Saturday.
Under his guidance, Sliema managed to turn around their fortunes after winning the BOV Challenge League last season while qualifying to the Europa Conference League, having finished in third in this year’s Premier League campaign.
The Blues will be returning to European football after an absence of almost a decade, having last played in the 2014/2015 Europa League edition against Hungary’s Ferencvaros.
Sliema finished third with 50 points and are one of the four semi-finalists in the FA Trophy.
They face Birkirkara next week for a place in the final.
