Gżira United have announced the signing of veteran goalkeeper Justin Haber.
The veteran goalkeeper has been looking to return to Premier League football for several months and has now agreed a deal that will see him start a second spell with the club.
“We are thrilled to have you rejoin Gzira United,” Gżira United said in a message to former Malta goalkeeper Haber.
“With an impressive career spanning clubs like Floriana FC, FC Dobrudzha Dobrich, Birkirkara FC, US Quevilly, RE Virton, Marsaxlokk FC, Chaidari FC, Sheffield United, Ferencváros TC, Kerkyra FC, Mosta FC, Hibernians FC, Floriana FC, Santa Lucia FC, and representing Malta, your experience and talent are invaluable.
“Let’s make great memories together again.”
Haber has been without a club since the start of last season when he parted ways with Marsaxlokk.
In January, there was talk that Haber could return to his former club Floriana but a deal failed to materialise.
Now the veteran football is back to top-flight football and will be battling for the no.1 jersey with Croatian goalkeeper Darijan Zarkov.
Haber becomes Gżira United’s second signing this month after the Maroons have already announced a deal for defender Jurgen Pisani.
