Hibernians FC have reached an agreement to sign Brazilian defender Pedrao, the Times of Malta can reveal.
The 24-year-old defender becomes the club’s second signing on Friday after earlier in the day the Paolites announced that they had signed Argentine forward Federico Falcone.
Hibernians have been looking to strengthen their defence after earlier this month, the Times of Malta reported that the club had parted ways with veteran Ferdinando Apap who has returned to his former club Victoria Hotspurs.
Throughout his career, Pedrao was on the books of Sport Club do Recife where he made 27 appearances and scored two goals.
In the last two years, he was on the books of Decisao, where he made 11 appearances, and scored one goal, as well as Treze, with whom he played nine matches and scored one goal.
Pedrao becomes Hibernians’ third signing after on Thursday the Paolites announced a deal for Dexter Xuereb.
