At Circuito Vincenza Ispica, four talented Maltese Karting Drivers, Kimi Bugeja, Zane Pace, Eli Xuereb, and Trevor Muscat, showcased their skills.
Pace emerged as the star of the day, clinching the first position in the GR3 over ten category.
Bugeja also performed commendably, securing second place in the GR3 under ten category.
Despite facing tough competition, Xuereb secured sixth position in the GR3 over 10 category.
Muscat, unfortunately, had to halt his race due to technical difficulties, but his determination was evident.
Nicky Gauci raced in the 5th round of the Rotax Max Challenge Italia in Franciacorta, Italy. This was Gauciâs first race on this track in Lombardy, north of Italy. Out of the 41 drivers, Gauci qualified for the final to start in P22; during the final, he advanced to P10, placing in the top 10.
Offroad Driver Neville Ciantar and his son Navigator Lee Ciantar, representing the indomitable Nusu Racing Team, took on the challenge of the King Of France off-road racing competition.
The team stood strong despite facing fierce competition from European teams, including the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Portugal, and France. They encountered various issues during the event, including an accident with a competitor and the need to change a tyre during the race.
These setbacks cost them precious time, but they persevered and finished in 11th place, a testament to their resilience and unwavering determination.
