Kian Leonardi will continue his career in Italy after completing a move to Fermana, the Italian Serie D side announced in a statement on Wednesday.
“Fermana Calcio announces the signing of striker Kian Leonardi,” the Italian club said in a statement.
“The young striker, born in 2005, comes from the Maltese league where he collected 40 appearances and scored seven goals.”
The young forward, who for the past seasons was on the books of Pieta Hotspurs, has been in Italy for the past three weeks where he settled in the new surroundings and waiting patiently for the necessary paperwork is completed and is registered as a new Fermana player.
During this time, he has trained with the first-team squad and was involved in two friendlies with Fermana.
In these friendlies, Leonardi started to show glimpses of what he has to offer for his new club when he managed to score two goals and provide two assists.
Leonardi is now hopeful that he can push for a starting place for his new club when they travel to Recatenese.
