Hibernians secured their second win of their women’s league campaign after beating Mtarfa in Matchday 3’s opener.
For the Paolites, this is their second win in three league outings as they are now on seven points.
On the other hand, Mtarfa remain without points after their straight defeat.
Hibernians drew first blood inside the first minute of the match through Brazilian playmaker Joelma who lobbed the ball over Dorienne Grech.

Hibernians stuck a third through captain Nicole Sciberras who slotted home from point-blank range before Leah Ayres made it four with a close-range effort that beat Grech.
Joelma recorded her persona halt-trick on the 66th minute when she capitalised on a Sciberras’ well-weighted assist.
Defender Jessica Dimech beat Grech with a brilliant long-range strike as Hibernians made them six.
Amy Busuttil, who came on as a substitute in the second-half, added a seventh with another strike that gave no chance to the Mtarfa goalkeeper to clear out.
Joelma’s fourth goal, Hibernians’ eighth, came ten minutes from time when she headed home an Alexis Espitia’s cross.
Natalee Geren made it 9-0 with another shot from outside the penalty area.
