The ATP Finals will remain in Italy until 2030 after it finishes its current spell in Turin next year, the men’s tennis tour said on Sunday.
A move to Saudi Arabia, which has been active in picking up sporting events in the last few years and already hosts the WTA Finals, had been mooted.
But Italian media reported that the end-of-season event could be moved to Milan after five years at the Inalpi Arena in northwestern Italy.
ATP president Andrea Gaudenzi had earlier announced the decision to keep the tournament in Italy after Jannik Sinner became the first player from the country to claim the title.
Sinner swept aside Taylor Fritz in straight sets to claim his eighth tournament victory of the year after also winning his first Grand Slams at the Australian and US Opens.
