Maltese Olympic Committee seeks public assistance to honour Olympians

The Maltese Olympic Committee (MOC) is preparing to host a special event to honour Maltese Olympians and their contributions to Maltese sport.

Although the Maltese Olympic Committee (MOC) has made several attempts to trace relatives and has successfully connected with many athletes and their families, there are some Olympians who have sadly passed away, and the MOC has been unable to obtain contact details for their family members.

The MOC is appealing to the public for assistance in reaching out to the families of these late Olympians. The presence of these families at the event will be vital to ensure that their loved ones’ achievements are celebrated and remembered in the most fitting way.

If anyone has any information about the family members of Maltese Olympians who have passed away, the MOC would greatly appreciate your help.

Kindly contact the Maltese Olympic Committee, by no later than Monday 17th February,  via email on media@nocmalta.org or sport@nocmalta.org with further details or to request further information.

“Together, let us honour the legacy of our sporting heroes and celebrate their enduring impact on Maltese sport,” the MOC said.
