Ronni Hartvig, once a Birkirkara FC player and now Chief Commercial Officer at Betsson Group, stepped onto the pitch on Sunday evening in Georgia – this time facing none other than Ronaldinho and a star-studded team of Barcelona icons.
The match was more than a game. It marked Betsson Group’s official launch into the Georgian market, with Betsson proudly sponsoring the sold-out stadium event that drew 45,000 spectators in Tbilisi.
It was a night to remember.
A true celebration of football, where fans witnessed legends from both sides: the likes of Kaladze, two-time Champions League winner with AC Milan, and Shota Arveladze, former Ajax and Rangers striker, representing Georgia alongside global greats in a match that brought the nation together.
In a heartfelt show of commitment beyond the pitch, Betsson also extended its support to grassroots football by donating to FC Kvartali’s women’s team, helping the next generation of players chase their dreams.
Because at its core, football is about connection. And last night, under the floodlights of Tbilisi, and the Georgian stars, Betsson didn’t just launch a brand. It joined a vibrant celebration of community, passion, and a nation’s love for the beautiful game, that is felt across the globe.
