Watch: Hibernians sign Brazilian forward Cleiton

Hibernians has agreed terms to sign Brazilian forward Cleiton, the Times of Malta can confirm.

The 29-year-old forward agreed personal terms with the Paolites and has already joined Branko Nisevic’s squad for pre-season training.

The powerful Brazilian forward is set for his spell outside the South American country after spending his whole career playing there.

After starting his career with Americano-MA, he moved to Santa Quiteira and Timon before heading to Chapadinha in January 2024.

Last summer, Cleiton moved to Juventus SC, but then last January he joined Altos.

This year, Cleiton made 23 appearances and scored two goals.

The Paolites are currently stepping up their preparations for their participation in the UEFA Conference League.

Last year’s FA Trophy winners will start their European adventure in the second qualifying round of the Conference League, where they will face the loser of the Europa League tie between BK Hacken and Spartak Trnava next month.
