Hibernians have signed Brazilian forward Pablo Alves, The Times of Malta can reveal.
The Paolites have been looking to bring in more firepower to their squad and have identified the pacey Brazilian as a perfect addition to Branko Nisevic’s squad.
Alves is a versatile forward that can not only play in a central position but can also operate on the wing.
Alves spent the whole of his career in his homeland, Brazil, as he donned the colours of Juventus SC and São Bento up until 2022.
In 2023, Alves moved to Camboriu and then joined Uberlandia and Audax-RJ.
Last summer Alves agreed to join Metropolitano but stayed there till last January when he decided to move to Ferroviario.
With Ferroviario, Alves made five appearances but he is now looking for a fresh start in Maltese football and has agreed to join Hibernians.
The Paolites are currently stepping up their preparations for their participation in the UEFA Conference League.
Last year’s FA Trophy winners will start their European adventure in the second qualifying round of the Conference League where they will face the loser of the Europa League tie between BK Hacken and Spartak Trnava next month.
