Former Liverpool midfielder Christie-Davies joins Marsaxlokk

Ex-Liverpool midfielder Isaac Christie-Davies has joined Marsaxlokk for the remainder of the 2025/2026 season.

The Welsh player moves to Malta after a spell at Wealdstone with whom he only played one match, in a National League Cup tie back in November.

Christie-Davies, 28, has four Wales U21 appearances and came through the Chelsea ranks before joining Liverpool.

He made one senior appearance at Liverpool, in 2019’s 5-0 defeat against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup, just before heading to Belgium’s Cercle-Brugge on loan.

While at Cercle-Brugge, Christie-Davies was in Malta for a short winter training camp and had spoken to the Times of Malta about his experience at Liverpool, then coached by Jurgen Klopp.

Watch: Klopp an excellent motivator – Liverpool’s Christie-Davies.

Christie-Davies has also played for KAS Eupen (Belgium) and Dunajská Streda (Slovakia).
