Ħamrun Spartans striker N’Dri Koffi has completed a deadline day move to Italian Serie B side Catanzaro, the Times of Malta can confirm.
The Italian Serie B side were looking to a wide forward, and after missing out on several targets, they tabled an offer for the Ivory Coast forward, and an agreement was reached with Ħamrun Spartans.
Koffi agreed on personal terms with Catanzaro and is now a new player for the Serie B club.
Koffi had already been on the verge of leaving the Spartans earlier this month after the Times of Malta had reported that the player had initially agreed to join Turkish side Vansport.
But the player had a change of heart and opted to stay with the Malta champions.
However, the player was always inclined to seek a new challenge and an agreement was reached to move to Italy with Serie B side Catanzaro.
Koffi joined Ħamrun Spartans at the start of the season and played a key role in the team’s historic run in the UEFA Conference League.
During his spell at Ħamrun Spartans, Koffi made 37 appearances, scoring six goals.
