Nina-Lee Naudi helped UC Sampdoria Women lift the Coppa Italia Eccellenza Femminile after a convincing 4–0 victory over Vado Women in Sunday’s final.
The 16-year-old Maltese prospect is part of Sampdoria’s first-team squad this season as the Blucerchiate aim to climb back through the tiers of Italian football following recent financial difficulties.
Sampdoria enjoyed a dominant run throughout the competition. They began by defeating Entella Women 5–0, followed by a 13–0 win over Sestri Levante Women and a 4–1 success against Molassana Women. Another emphatic display saw them overcome Spezia Women 10–0 to reach the semi-finals.
In the last four, Sampdoria comfortably dispatched Albingaunia Women over two legs, winning 9–1 in the first match and 6–1 in the return leg to book their place in the final.
Naudi has been an important figure for the first team this season, scoring several goals while also featuring at U17s level, particularly in key matches.
