Cabrini is a celebrated Italian former professional footballer and manager, widely regarded as one of the best left-backs in Italian history.
He was a key figure in Italy’s 1982 FIFA World Cup victory and enjoyed a 13-year career with Juventus, during which he won the Champions Cup, Italian Serie A and various other important titles.
Parker is an English former professional footballer and sports pundit, best known as a key right-back for Manchester United and England in the early 1990s.
Renowned for his speed and defensive awareness, Parker was an integral part of the 1990 Engalnd World Cup squad and won two Premier League titles and multiple domestic and European titles with United.
Iaquinta is a retired Italian footballer, best known as a fast, physical striker who was part of Italy’s 2006 World Cup-winning squad. He spent his peak years with Udinese and Juventus, scoring over 100 professional club goals before retiring in 2013.
Cabrini, Parker and Iaquinta will take part in the Generations of Glory Dinner which will be held on Friday, May 22 from 7.30pm at the Radisson Golden Sands Hotel.
During the event, Cabrini, Parker and Iaquinta will interact with the guests, talk about their World Cup feats, take pictures, and sign memorabilia.
The following day, the three legendary players will take part in a football camp for young hopefuls who will interact with these stars of world football and receive advice from them to be able to continue their footballing journey.
Each participant will be given a nice surprise gift. This event will take place in collaboration with Ħamrun FC Daikin School of Excellence and Ħamrun Hanin and will be at the Victor Tedesco Stadium, starting at 1pm.
The three former players shall also have an event which will be with a number of patients who are currently under the care of Hospice Malta.
Proceeds from these events shall be going towards Hospice Malta which is the official Partner of Memorabilia for Charity.
