Milan in advanced talks with Ruben Amorim over coaching role

Amorim, who has been out of management since leaving Manchester United earlier this year, has emerged as the leading candidate to succeed Massimiliano Allegri at San Siro.

Milan are reported to have reached an agreement in principle with Portuguese coach RĆŗben Amorim to become the club’s next head coach.

Several Italian and Portuguese media outlets claim that negotiations between the two parties are at an advanced stage, with Amorim understood to have accepted the broad terms of Milan’s proposal.

However, the appointment has not yet been officially confirmed by the Serie A club.

Reports suggest that only final approval from Milan’s ownership remains before the deal can be completed.
