Serie A giants AC Milan have sent a letter of congratulations to Ħamrun Spartans on their Premier League title success, the Maltese Premier League club announced.
This season, the Spartans ended a 30-year-wait to win the Premier League title and the Rossoneri sent a letter to club president Joseph Portelli to congratulate them on their achievement, particularly given that the clubs share the same colours, red and black.
“The Rossoneri AC Milan extending their wishes on the occasion of our Championship success,” AC Milan said in a letter signed by Paolo Scaroni, the club chairman.
“Same colours. Same passion.”
