Kevin Ante Rosero was unveiled as a new Volos player on Saturday as the Colombian striker starts a new chapter in his football career in the Greek Super League.
The Times of Malta this week had reported that Ante Rosero was set to join NFC Volos and the Colombian forward sealed his move when he completed his medical and signed his contract with the Greek side.
On Saturday, Ante Rosero wrote an emotional farewell message to the Santa Lucia FC fans and thanked them for all the love and support they showed towards him during his three-year spell at the Premier League club.
Ante Rosero set the Maltese Premier League alight when he finished as the leading scorer scoring 17 goals in 22 appearances to help the team finish eighth in the top-flight.
“Thank you very much with the heart to Sta Lucia FC, santaluciasupporters and coach Oliver Spiteri, all the players and technical body who were in these three years, thank you for giving me the opportunity to have started my career here.
“Thank you stluciafc for absolutely everything you gave me in these three years. I will always carry them in my heart thank you for everything,” Ante Rosero wrote on his Instagram account.
Club president Robert Micallef thanked the prolific Colombian forward for his contribution to the club.
“Kevin, thank you also for the exciting times we shared, thank you for your professionalism, thank you for your honesty. Keep on believing in your self but above all keep on dreaming big like you always did,” Micallef said.
“You deserve respect.”
