Jelena Marenic opened the score before a Francesca Blasoni extended their lead to 3-0. Flavia Lombardo scored Sassari’s fourth goal before Serbian forward Marenic netted her second of the game. Giulia Redolfi grabbed Sassari’s sixth goal at the death.
Borg’s upcoming commitment with Sassari Torres is an away trip against Cella, next weekend.
