The Malta women’s international player grabbed her fourth Sassari goal this season as she doubled the score early in the first half before her team extended their lead to six goals, securing a comfortable victory away from home.
Sassari headed into this game as joint-leaders with Bologna on 49 points and both remained at the top of the championship after Sunday’s matches as also Bologna managed to win – 2-0 away at Jesina Calcio Femminile.
Borg’s Sassari will host Roma Decimoquarto next weekend, before their final of the game of the season against Ducato Spoleto on June 20, which could see them move into Italy’s second-tier.
