Qormi Daikin are the firm favourites of winning the national hockey championship after a 9-0 rout over White Hart.
The Qormi side are currently enjoying a five-point lead over nearest rivals Gree Sliema Hotsticks.
As another round of matches was played at the Corradino Hockey Complex, even Gree Sliema Hotsticks registered a massive win over Rabat.
A brace by Steve Tanti, Matteo Forani and Keith Bajada paved the way for Qormi’s 9-0 win over White Hart.
Duncan Edwards, Matthijs Bartels and Daniel Ellul were also on the mark.
Gree Sliema Hotsticks also won their respective encounter against Rabat.
The Hotsticks won 6-0 with Ryan George helping himself with a hat-trick. Julian Zahra and Gary Bonnici were also on target for their team.
Meanwhile Gree Sliema Hotsticks saw off Qormi Daikin 5-2 in the first round of the Under 14 championship while in the third round of the Under 18 League, this time Qormi were more clinical as they beat Sliema 9-1.
