In its quest to offer a wider network of support to its affiliated national federations, the Maltese Olympic Committee has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Centre for Sport Excellence (CSE).
The Centre for Sport Excellence is a project of Edu Alliance, a local education and training consulting firm, that also provides support services to entities to identify European Union funding opportunities.
The MOU was signed by the president of the Maltese Olympic Committee, Julian Pace Bonello, and Martin Borg, CEO of Edu Alliance.
“The Maltese Olympic Committee welcomes such collaboration and we look forward to having this signing translated in tangible results both for the MOC and its affiliated member federations,” said Pace Bonello.
EU funding remains an unexploited area of much-needed financial assistance by affiliated member federations of the MOC.
Such federations will be given professional support to prepare detailed proposals for projects they would want to implement but lack the necessary funding.
“We are delighted to have been chosen by such a prestigious entity as is the Maltese Olympic Committee, who have put their trust in our expertise to assist in the professional delivery of consultancy services which will enable them to benefit from previously untapped sources of funding,” said Martin Borg.
