Nicole Sciberras was in the starting formation for Tavagnacco as they travelled to Sicily to face Palermo in a midweek Serie B game, on Wednesday.
The Malta women’s international played a full game for Tavagnacco as they suffered their fourth defeat of the season thanks to a first-half goal which handed Palermo the three points.
Sciberras and her Tavagnacco side sit seventh in the 14-team Serie B championship with 20 points after 14 games. Next Sunday, Tavagnacco will face Cortefranca in another away game in the Italian second-tier.
