Ylenia Carabott made a quick return to club football as she played for Keynsham Town Ladies in their midweek game against Southampton in the FA Women’s National League.
Carabott played for the Malta women’s national team in the friendly match against Italy U-23’s, last Tuesday.
The forward was deployed from the start for Keynsham as they were facing the league leaders in a very difficult match for them.
Southampton, who are one of the few full-time teams in England’s third-tier, secured a large 9-1 win over Carabott’s side.
