Joseph Mbong’s second-half introduction proved vital for Ironi Kiryat as he grabbed a late assist to help his side gain a 1-1 draw against Ashdod in the Israeli championship.
The Malta international started on the substitutes’ bench as Ironi Kiryat hosted Ashdod in their seventh game of the season.
Mbong was introduced on minute 87 and managed to assist Roi Kehat on minute 90 to salvage a point for his side.
Ironi Kiryat are 10th in the 14-team Israeli top-flight with 8 points after five draws and a victory in 7 games played.
