Paris Saint-Germain have their sights set on Manchester United’s England goalkeeper Mary Earps, sources told AFP on Thursday.
Earps is out of contract at United in June and PSG are on the hunt for a keeper.
The French club’s Katarzyna Kiedrzynek, 32, is out of contract in 2025 and Constance Picaud is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal with her present contract due to run out at the end of this season.
Whilst awaiting Picaud’s decision the source says 30-year-old Earps is on PSG’s radar.
The Women’s World Cup finalist — she won the golden glove award in Australia — Earps was nominated as best woman keeper of 2022 at FIFA’s The Best awards in February last year after winning Euro 2022 with the Lionesses.
In December Earps picked up the coveted BBC Sports Personality of the Year award, beating off England cricketer Stuart Broad and world heptathlon champion Katarina Johnson-Thompson.
PSG had a chance to assess Earps up close when they scuppered Manchester United’s dreams of qualifying for a first Women’s Champions League title with a 3-1 win at the Parc des Princes in October.
