29-year-old played played four matches, scored one in 2018 AFC Champions League.
Balzan have added an Asian winger to their offensive ranks after announcing the arrival of South Korean player Eui-gwon Han.
Han, 29, will embark in his first ever experience in Europe after spending his career in his native country and in Japan.
In 2021, he was on the brink of joining Dundalk in the Republic of Ireland but despite an agreement between the Irish club and his then South Korean side, Suwon Bluewings, Han did not meet the terms of criteria for non-EU players agreed between the FAI and Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.
Throughout his career, the South Korean played made 70 appearances in the K-League (the country’s top-flight), where he donned the colours of Gyeongnam FC, Daejon Citizen and Suwon Bluewings.
He also made four appearances in the 2018 Asian Champions League, scoring one goal in a Suwon’s 3-0 win over Jeonbuk Hyundai.
Balzan are eighth with 17 points after 12 games in the Premier League.
This weekend, Oliver Spiteri’s side will face Żurrieq in Sunday’s Izibet FA Trophy match.
