The 26-year-old cost 800,000 euros ($872,000) according to Spanish media reports, and he is set to be a back-up for first-choice goalkeeper Jan Oblak on a contract until June 2027.
Atletico’s current reserve goalkeeper Ivo Grbic is poised to depart the Spanish capital and has been linked with Premier League side Sheffield United.
