Maltese athlete produced new national best mark in indoor triple jump two weeks ago.
Two weeks after producing a new national record in indoor triple jump, Rachela Pace put on another stellar performance to set a new Maltese best mark this time in indoor long jump.
The Maltese athlete, representing Fresno State University, move up to second best all-time at Fresno State, after recording a jump of 6.31m in her third and final attempt.
The previous long jump national record in indoor meets was 6.08m, recorded by Rebecca Camilleri in 2015.
“Super exciting weekend for the jumps group. A big win for Rachela Pace the long with a leap of 6.31. So proud of this group and really looking forward to where we are heading,” Audra Smith, coach at Fresno State, told the University’s website.
