San Giljan ASC Under 16s coached by Marko Orlovic completed a five-day training camp in Sicily supported by SportMalta and VisitMalta.
The programme was a very intense one that included gym training and pool training at the La Cavalera complex in Augusta as well as a number of high-level practice matches with Italian teams Ekipe Catania, Muri Antichi, Coop Parma and Varese.
This was a great team-building opportunity for the boys who are preparing to compete in the Age Group Summer League that started this week.
Brian Schembri, the club’s junior teams’ co-ordinator, led the contingent during the training camp.
