Balzan have acquired the services of Afghanistan international midfielder Mosawer Ahadi, the club announced on Monday.
Ahadi, 24, is an attacking player who can cover various roles including left midfielder, left winger, right winger and attacking midfielder.
He has spent his career in Finland, featuring for seven clubs including at his last club Helsinki IFK.
Ahadi has 22 appearances in Finland’s top-flight.
At international level, he is an Afghanistan international and has already picked seven caps.
He was a starter in Afghanistan’s last four 2026 World Cup qualifications where he played against India twice, Qatar and Kuwait.
Ahadi represented Finland at youth level, featuring in the U-15, U-17 and U-18 categories.
