The Assikura Women’s League has entered its decisive second phase, with the top four teams battling for the league title and a coveted spot in next season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Just three points separate the title contenders, promising an intense and thrilling conclusion to the season that could go down to the wire.

In the first round of matches, Hibernians will take on reigning champions Birkirkara, while Mġarr United face Swieqi United.

The next two matchdays will feature Hibernians against Mġarr and Swieqi versus Birkirkara, followed by Hibernians clashing with Swieqi and Birkirkara taking on Mġarr in the final round.

This sequence of fixtures will be repeated twice more to determine the Maltese champion of the 2024/2025 season.

All Top Four teams have been bolstering their squads during the January transfer window, with several new signings already making their debuts.

San Ġwann, who lead the group with 16 points, will face Valletta in their opening second phase match.
