Mosta completed a triple transfer swoop by signing Gabon goalkeeper Anse Ngoubi Demba, Costa Rican left-back Matthew Bolanos, and Nigerian forward Prince Emmanuel Chibuzor.
Ngoubi Demba is a 24-year-old goalkeeper who spent all his career in France. He was first on the books of AC Amiens B and then moved to US Raon-l’Etape.
Ngoubi Demba is highly rated in his country. He is a Gambian international who has collected three caps for the African side since making his debut in November 2023.
At Mosta, Ngoubi Demba will be fighting for the no.1 jersey with Nigerian goalkeeper Udoh Akpan who has been a regular feature in the team’s goal this season.
Bolanos, on his part, also arrives at Mosta having represented his country three times at U-23 level.
The young left-back spent all his career in Costa Rica having been on the books of Saprissa, ADR Jicara, Grecia and CS Uruguay among others.
This season he made 14 appearances with US Uruguay in the Costa Rica top-flight side.
The other player, signing for Mosta is Prince Emmanuel who was on the books of the second team of Czech side Banik Ostrava.
Emmanuel has been playing in the Czech Republic for the past 18 months and has one appearance to his name in the MOL Cup when he netted a brace in the 2-0 win over Frydek-Mistek.
Mosta will play their second match in the Closing Round against Balzan on Friday.
