Swieqi United snatched a late win against Birkirkara as Hibernians, Mġarr United shared the spoils in the women’s league.
The title race continue to heat up with the Owls now moving just two points behind leaders Hibs.
On the other hand, Birkirkara and Mġarr are both on 32 – trailing the Paolites by five.
Jade Flask found the winner deep in stoppage time to help Swieqi overcome champions Birkirkara.
The Stripes had drew first blood when Valentina Rapa found the net, just before the half-time whistle.
Swieqi, on their part, had levelled terms through Venezuela international Rafanny before Flask’s all-important goal.
Mġarr forged ahead against Hibernians through Colombian forward Valeria Villegas on the 26th minute.
Hibernians, though, managed to level terms just before the break through Ileana Farrugia.
