Malta men’s national team to host Bosnia-Herzegovina in October friendly

The Malta men’s senior national team will face Bosnia-Herzegovina in an international friendly match on Sunday, October 12.

The match will be played at the National Stadium, with kick-off time set at 7pm.

For Malta, this match will be part of an October international window in which Emilio De Leo’s side will face either Spain or the Netherlands in the 2026 World Cup qualifications on October 9.

In the November window, Malta will wrap up its qualifications with matches against Finland and Poland.

Bosnia-Herzegovina are currently ranked 74th in the world and will face Romania, Cyprus, San Marino and Austria in the upcoming World Cup preliminaries.

All-time top scorer and most capped player Edin Dzeko, at 38 years and now on the books of Fenerbahce, is still captaining the squad.
