The fifth edition of The Challenge, an electrifying fitness competition organised by Garmin, The Jungle Box, and Warehouse, marked a new milestone last weekend at Campus Hub, attracting a record-breaking turnout and raising an impressive €60,000 for charity.
With 1,200 athletes taking part in three days of high-energy competition, and over 30,000 spectators cheering them on, The Challenge proved once again to be one of Malta’s most anticipated sporting events. The event featured a series of gruelling physical workouts, crafted to test the limits of strength, endurance, and teamwork, all within an atmosphere of camaraderie and mutual encouragement.
A highlight of the weekend was the invitational relay finale, where Malta’s 12 sporting communities went head-to-head in a thrilling showdown that celebrated the island’s elite athletic talent and team spirit.
Beyond the competition, The Challenge made a powerful social impact by raising €60,000 in support of Inspire Malta, a leading NGO that provides vital services and support for individuals with disabilities and their families.
Organisers extended heartfelt thanks to the participants, volunteers, sponsors, and the wider community for their unwavering support. “This year’s edition was a true celebration of resilience, fitness, and community spirit,” said a spokesperson. “We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together and are already laying the groundwork for an even bigger event.”

The next edition of The Challenge is officially set to take place from September 12–14, 2025, promising even more action, inspiration, and community impact.
